I cant believe where the time has gone! This is officially the last week that I am going uphill, and then I hit my half way mark. Time is a weird thing. It just passes you by.
I hope everyone had such a great week! This week we taught like normal. We found some future investigators-- a whole family actually! And I am super excited to start working with them. And as for this week, we have really seen some progress in our investigators. Its still hard to get them to come to church, but Im thinking that its because its half an hour away and you have to pay to take a bus to go. So we are praying that we can have a church here soon! I sent a picture of Luz our investigator. Shes really been doing well! And I know that she is prepared to be baptized. We just have to teach her a few more things and she has to come to church with us. I know this week we will see miracles!
I’m sorry I don’t have a TON to report on for this week. My companion and I both got a little fever but its gone now. Now we are both left with just a common cold. We are both sneezing and coughing. But hey, at least were a team! haha. The goal is to be one right?
Something funny that happened this week. Here in Uruguay its custom to kiss everyone when you say hello and goodbye. So we were at a future investigators house and we were talking to a lady and then all of the sudden her dad came in and he kissed me on the cheek. I tried to stop him but it all just happened so fast. We were talking to him and explained that its a rule in the mission that we just shake the guys hands. He understood and we just went along talking. More people walked in the room and we were talking to all of them. Then the grandson walked in and he was about to kiss my companion until everyone yelled "NO!!!!" hahaha. it was actually really hilarious. We all were laughing. its been really cool this week to see the miracles that hes given me.
One thing that I have seen this week is the love that my Heavenly Father has for ME. I have prayed so much this week and I have heard His answers, felt His love, and seen His help. Its so amazing how close we can get to Him if we try.
I’m sorry this email is really short this week, I just don’t have any time left. But I love you all!!
Love, Hermana Jacqueline Wiscombe
