Hola!!!
Turns out, yo voy a seguir hablando en español porque mi hija es de CHILE!!!!
We´ll see how good my English is when I get home haha.
On Tuesday I had to take a bus at 2 in the morning and travel 5 hours to Montevideo. I forgot my pillow so I couldn’t really sleep, but that’s okay. We arrived at about 7 in the morning, took a taxi to the mission home and we all (us trainers) had breakfast together. Then we all had a meeting in the mission home together just a little bit about training. It was nice! It was really spiritual. By the time it ended, the oros (greenies?) arrived and so went to the other side of the temple, while they were on the other side, they lined us up and we walked over to where they were, stood behind our hijos and sang Called to Serve and then they turned around and we got to meet them! My companions name is Hermana Bravo. She’s 20. And she’s really nice!! She’s always smiling and she’s always happy. And she’s already a really good missionary! Seriously, its awesome. We are already teaching the lessons together and we are making tons of contacts! I’m really excited for these next 2 changes, because I know that we are going to see miracles. We have already seen miracles! Yesterday, a recent convert went to church (she recently moved into our ward), and so we have been visiting her and we started talking to her sister and her mom. And guess what. THEY ALL WENT TO CHURCH YESTERDAY! Its seriously super great. The first time we taught them, we gave the sister a Book of Mormon and she refused it because she said that she wasn’t going to read it. But we insisted and left it in her house. And guess what. She’s reading the Book of Mormon! She’s already almost done with 1 Nephi! Its so amazing to see the change in these people. There were lots of people that were in our gospel principles class yesterday. It was so great to see! :)
Yesterday I was able to give a talk about the Sabbath day. But a lot of us already know what we SHOULD do on the Sabbath, so I focused on a talk from the last general conference, called, "Is it still wonderful to you?" He mentioned how we constantly have these things in front of us. But instead of just seeing, are we really looking? Instead of just hearing, are we really listening? Its such a great talk. I also mentioned Isaiah 58:13 and 14. It talks about how the Sabbath day is a delight. I love that word! God has given us one day to remember Him and His Son Jesus Christ. One day to really focus on serving them and forgetting about ourselves. I recommend to all of you to read that talk. (Liahona May 2015- is it still wonderful to you?).
Im really excited for this week to work hard and see the miracles that happen. Shall we not go on in so great a cause?!
I love you all!!
