This week went crazy fast I’m not quite sure what to write.
On Tuesday we had a capacitación with our zone. It was super spiritual. We talked about keeping the commandments and how we can receive MORE blessings. The more we work to keep the commandments the more blessings we receive. God is always willing to keep His word, we are just the ones that need to work to receive His wonderful blessings. Afterwards, our district leader had us all share our testimonies on why we are here in the mission. The spirit was so strong. I told them that I am on the mission because it makes me happy. It makes me happy to make others happy and tell them about Christ. I am here because God sent me here. This is where He wants me, so I’m here. It was an easy decision to come out here. To make my Father proud. And I shared a few experiences of when less actives have come to church, and when we have amazing lessons and everything :)
We also went on divisions this week. In the morning I was with Hermana Church. It was a lot of fun! We were able to visit one of our new investigators, Lucia. We talked to her about the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ. It was so spiritual! She has a 7 month old son so we talked to her about how families can be eternal. And that’s why we have the gospel now. It was a really good lesson! And in the afternoon I went with Hermana Tafur. We went to one of their investigators, her name is Mary. We talked to her about prophets. I have never had a lesson so spiritual just talking about prophets. In the end, Mary said how happy she was the we have prophets and apostles. It was so amazing!
It rained for the first time since we’ve been here this week. We had to walk more than half an hour in the rain to get to our investigators house. We were absolutely soaked haha. But she lets us borrow some clothes. First lesson I’ve taught in pants haha.
My emails not too long this week, but I want you guys to know that I know that this is the true church. And this gospel brings us happiness. God loves us and our Savior atoned for us. This life is so short but so significant. This is why we need to work so hard now so that when Christ comes, we are ready and prepared.
I love you all! Thank you for writing me and for praying for me!
Hasta luego!
