Hey! Its a beautiful day over here in Nueva Palmira, Uruguay. Its a little hot, but nothing I haven’t experienced before. And it cools down at night times now, so its great! I even have to wear a cardigan sometimes which is awesome because I love being comfortable! Haha.
I hope all of you had an amazing week! This week for us was crazy fast. I actually cant remember it very well it went so fast. We had 14 lessons in total this week. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that numbers don’t matter. The lessons that we had this week were all really amazing :) One thing that I have really noticed it just how incredibly blessed I am. There are so many people with so many different problems. Its hard to know how to help them all. But that’s the amazing thing about the Spirit and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. IM not the one that has to help them. I just have to show them how they can turn to the Lord to help them.
Last night we a really sad mom crying because she really misses her daughter. She has like no way to communicate with her. I know that Christ has felt the smallest things that we feel. Just like missing a person. And I have a testimony that he can bring us comfort. This gospel is amazing!
The Elders that are also working here in Nueva Palmira had a baptism this past Saturday. 2 actually. It was really great! (That’s where the pictures are from). There were a TON of little kids there. They were all running around the whole time making a ton of noise, but somehow we were still able to feel the spirit. And us 4 missionaries had to help transport a ton of kids on a bus there and back. It was funny, they started singing I Am a Child of God on the bus and everyone was like, "shhhh" haha. And they were also yelling "HOY ES EL DÍA!!" (Today is the day). That’s a saying the us missionaries over here in Uruguay say. All the kids were adorable though. They kept wanting to hold all of our hands.
I’m sorry there’s not too much to report on for this week. But it really was a great week! haha.
Love you all!!
