Ba! Where does the time go?! I feel like October was just starting. Being on a mission, time just flies. Weeks go so fast. Days are super full of things to do, people to teach, etc. Its crazy that its almost November. Anyway.
I have a new comp! She is from Chile. Her name is Hermana Rojas. She has 15 months on her mission. We are thinking that she might finish her mission with me. We might have 12 weeks together. Which is fine with me. She’s is super awesome! And super funny! And guess what? I can actually communicate with her! How crazy is that? I can communicate with someone in Spanish. Haha. Its pretty cool. So many blessings from the Lord! This past week, we worked really hard on trying to find new people. The goal for the mission is to find 8 new investigators. And this week we found 12!! We are going to try to work with all of them this week. Its super hard to visit everyone, but we are trying! Oh! A miracle happened this week. 2 menos activos came to church!!! It was so amazing to see them sitting there in sacrament meeting! It just made me feel like I was actually making a difference.
Another little miracle that I’ve noticed this week is that I am able to answer phone calls! Sometimes I have to pass the phone over, but before I wasn’t able to make one phone call basically. I’m improving! I want to thank you all for your prayers and your support! Seriously, prayers are so important. And God really does hear every Word. And He answers prayers.
The members have been helping us this week, and its so awesome working with them. They help so much. They are able to provide another testimony in the lessons. So, help out the missionaries! They need your help! :) Its super cool that one day every ear will hear the gospel. This work really is progressing! Its cool to be a part of it.
Its been getting a lot hotter this week. Its been about 30C and the road is melting and sticking to my shoes. Haha. Im serious. And everyone says that in December and January it gets up to 50C. What on earth?! But I am drinking a ton of water every day, so don’t worry. My comp actually made a huge footprint in the road cause it had melted! Haha.
Sorry there isn’t too much to report on this week. But its been a good one! Feel free to email me and tell me about your week! I love you all!
