Its hard to remember what happened in the week, but I will try my best!
First of all. This past Wednesday we went on divisions with Hermana Church and Hermana Davidson. I was with Hermana Davidson all day. And it was amazing! In the morning, we were just contacting like crazy and we ended up having one lesson with a future investigator. We walked in and it was her and her husband. And let me tell you. Those two people could not be more different. She is crazy nice and super willing to listen to what we have to say. And her husband is super super difficult. He basically doesn’t believe in anything. He kept arguing with what we were saying. In part of the lesson, Hermana Davidson was trying to talk and grab his attention, so she said, "Ruben. Ruben. Ruben. Ruben." (He was talking the whole time saying how he doesn’t believe). And in the very end, when we were leaving, he said to Hermana Davidson, "My names not Ruben. Its Luis." We just laughed and laughed. Hahaha. It was seriously so funny. Besides the fact that her husband was bashing what we were saying, it was a good lesson with her. She said she was going to pray about what we taught her and she says she wants to go to church. Her husband says he doesn’t want her to go to church. But God works miracles and softens hearts. So well see what happens! And then in the afternoon with Hermana Davidson, we contacted like crazy. Seriously, it was awesome! We felt super united.
We were also able to have another lesson with one of our new investigators, Nelly. We went to her house with a young couple in our ward. They helped us explain the Book of Mormon and resolve her doubts. It was good!! We are going to go back this week!
As for Hugo. He said he really wants to get baptized, but its just been a little hard to find him, because he recently moved and then he went to Brazil and we don’t’ know when he’s coming back. But we are still trying to work with him and he is still awesome!
Today for P-day we were able to play ultimate Frisbee in the rain. It was super fun! And then a family in our stake gave us all (our zone) choripan. Its food... haha don’t know how to describe it. But it was super nice!
Life is going well here in Uruguay. This week I was able to read Alma 5. I recommend to ALL of you to read Alma 5. Our time is so short we just need to do everything we can! Im grateful for all of you and for your prayers. I hope you have an amazing week!!
