Where to begin. This week has been really good! First off, one of the districts that got here before us, left a few days ago and more people are coming in. Its been fun meeting new people! There are three north american girls coming today so thatll be fun to meet them!
Proselyting this week was awesome! Definitely better than last week. It was actually like pouring rain the whole time haha. We were out there for 4 hours again (like last week) and this time, the time went way faster. My companion and I went to the same area and last week we went to an icecream shop and bought dule de leche icecream (heaven) and we talked to the manager and gave her a Book of Mormon. So this past week, we went there again, of course bought icecream, and talked to her again. We asked her if she had read the Book of Mormon and she said she read a little bit to do language practice or something, but hey...she opened the book. Thats pretty cool. She wrote down her name and number and said that some missionaries could come by and teach her so Im exited! So, in Argentina, they have gates in front of their doors, so instead of knocking, you clap. My companion and I were soaked, with our umbrellas and we deciced to go "knock on doors". We would put our umbrella under our chin and say "uno, dos tres!" and we would clap clap clap! Hahah. My life. its awesome. No one would open the front door. Everyone would just open their windows. One time I heard someone talking and I was like, where is that coming from?? And I looked up, and
someone was sticking their head out of the second floor and she was like, yes? So I was basically looking up to the sky and just yelling (because the rain was really loud) "Hola! Nosotros somos las misioneras de la iglesia de Jesucrist de los santos de los ultimos dias. Nosotros tenemos un menjage sobre Jesucristo y la familias eterno." And all of them said they didnt have the time or they werent interested. But thats ok! At least im trying! Thats all I can do right? Itll be cool to be able to talk to people every day when Im out in the field. 12 more days in the MTC. Can you believe it! What the heck.
The language is still really hard and I definitely have to pray for patience because I know, eventually it will come. I just have to work hard and rely on the Lord! So this week, I have basically been missing music like crazy! And its not like popular music haha. I find myself singing pocahontas, tarzan, phantom of the opera, les mis, etc. Haha. Im like, I JUST WANT TO JAM OUT! Haha, but the music I listen to hear is really pretty.
This week my district and I played a game call signs. Everyone picks a sign and then one person is in the middle, and we all have to pass each others signs around descretely and the person in the middle has to tag the person that has it. It was super fun.
I am seriously going to miss my district so much!! I just want to say how thankful I am for the Holy Ghost in my life, my Savior and my Father in heaven. I couldnt make it through this life without any of them. All is going well here, thank you all for your prayers :) ¡Hasta luego!
