Hola! its almost been a week!! Its so crazy how different my life is right now than just a week ago! It still seems weird to me that I am in South America because literally the only time we go outside is for physical activity (in a small area). To start off, my compañera is amazing. She is so hard working, she knows a ton about the gospel, shes not afraid to be spiritual, and she is so loving. I am so lucky :) And I also love my roommates. I have 2 other roommates. They only speak Spanish and its awesome to try to talk to them. Basically all of our conversations are, Como se dice? (How do you say...) Haha. Man I love them. They are so awesome. It too bad, because they are leaving in like a week.
The food here is actually amazing. Im actually super afraid that I am going to gain weight because I

eat SO MUCH! I always look forward to "food time" haha. Next, my district is probably the best district you could ask for. There are 6 people in our district, my companion and I are the only girls, and its just amazing. I love them so much. Im so glad that I get to spend the next 5 weeks with them! The other girls that are here too are so amazing. Everyone gets along so well, and everyone is so nice and so funny.
I must say, its been a change having to get up at 630. I forgot how hard it was. But Ive been pretty good at just hopping out of bed and saying my prayer. I always try to remember that it doesnt matter if im tired because this is the Lords time.Heavenly Father really does answer my prayers. I pray that I wont be too tired that day and every time, I just seem more awake. So, PRAY MORE! :)
I love going outside for physical activity. Its so nice to get out of my skirt for a little while and play volleyball, basketball, football, or soccer or something. I love playing with everyone and having everyone interact.
So we got to Buenos Aires and we drove to the CCM (MTC) and it turns out that the BA Temple is right next door. Its amazing. We just look out the window and its right there!! Its beautiful. The weather here is awesome too. Its not really cold yet, but its cool. So it feels amazing when we go outside to play sports.
As far as Spanish goes.... its hard. But guess what?! Im really starting to understand what people are saying! Its harder to speak it, but im getting better at listening. And I havent even been here a week! My teachers are amazing. We have one teacher, Hermano Vargas. Man. Hes seriously so funny. I love him. And hes a great teacher. Hermano Peterson is also really amazing.
The Spirit here is always crazy strong. We can go one minute to laughing at something dumb, to feeling the spirit hard core. Thats what happened last night with my district and I. It was incredible the spirit that i felt. That I always feel here.
Im really sorry that I dont have any pictures but they dont allow us to take pictures here until the end.... but theyll come at some point! We are in a building all day anyway. So, I love wearing this nametag. Its so awesome having Christs name on you! I like never want to take it off. I feel privileged to wear it.
So funny story....
Yesterday my district was cleaning the cafeteria, and one of the guys and I were washing doors, and they are the kind of doors that swing either way depending on which way you go, and so i was going to the other side to clean the door and it swung back super fast and hit the guy in my district in the head SUPER HARD. Holy cow I felt so bad!! Dont worry, hes okay, but i felt so bad.
Everything is amazing here. Its hard work trying to learn spanish but im trying!!
I also heard amazing talks by Holland and Christofferson. Man, if youre ever down, just go listen to some talks. Such motivation. I love it. I love the spirit here, I love my Savior so much, and I love my heavenly Father. I love you all!
