Family and Friends!!
First of all, I’m super sorry if this email is super short. We have been running out of time today.
But this week just flew by! Its been really good! We are trying to find some new people to teach. Right now we have 2 progressing investigators. One is getting baptized in 2 weeks! his name is Ian and he is 9 years old. He’s crazy smart!
Man. Sometimes its really hard to think of things to say...
This week we went on divisions with other Hermanas and it was super fun! Hermana Paredes told me that she LOVED the way I taught haha. She kept saying it over and over again. So that made me feel good. I always love doing divisions. I learn a lot :)
Last night my companion and I had about 15 more minutes before we could enter the house but we had no one to visit. So we were walking along the street and we saw someone waiting for a bus, so I told my companion that we should talk to her. So we walked up to her and we were just like "hi!" haha. She took out her headphones and was like "hi!" She was super nice! She just immediately started talking to us about her life. She travels to lots of different parts of the world for her job. She will being going to Cuba this next week. So cool! She was seriously so nice. She doesn’t live here but she says that she visits her mom that lives super close to our house! So we wrote down her address. It was a great end to the night! Its cool how the Lord puts people in our path.
For the past 2 weeks, our teacher for gospel principles hasn’t been coming to church, so Hermana Sowards and I have been having to teach. But its been good! Its what we do, right? :) Last week we taught about faith in Jesus Christ and this week we taught about repentance. Its really crazy because it all starts with faith. And that brings us to repentance. And if we repent, we can better ourselves, become clean again, and be worthy to enter into the presence of God. I learn something new every day. I love this gospel!!
I’m sorry this is so short this week but I hope you all are crazy happy!
Love you all! Hermana Jacqueline Wiscombe
