Another week of lots of learning and (hopefully) growing! Everyday I am learning something new about the missionary work and the gospel. Everything just makes so much sense and is so perfect the more I learn.
Anyways, this past week we had a division. So at first I was going to go with one of the sister training leaders to her area. But then they told me that I was going to be staying in my area and she would come here with me. That was intimidating to hear! Only being, what, 7 weeks in Molino and having to direct us to the people I can barely speak to and get around in my area was so scary! Well, nerve-racking. But we got through it! I was surprised about how well I actually do know my area and where the people live. The Hermana that was with me said that that was one of her hardest things her first division- was knowing the area. So at least I'm getting somewhere, right? It felt good though. To be "in charge." I had to think a lot more - about who we were going to see, what to teach, and where to go. I had a lot less time to let my mind wonder. I really had to focus and it was a good day. I know that when I lose myself in the work, I am a lot happier. Funny how that works. But that's missionary work for ya!
Yesterday was the first day of spring here. Weird for 2 reasons: This year all I've technically had is winter and spring. and another, because it has felt like summer this whole time. But happy spring! People celebrate it a lot more here that in the states. Which made for a really good dinner last night - Fajitas!
A scripture I want to share for this week is Galatians 5:16. It really is so important that we are constantly (ALWAYS) having the spirit to be with us. That is why going to church every week is so important and partaking of the sacrament. The Holy Ghost really does help us endure to the end. With the Holy ghost as our constant companion, we can resist temptation and have guidance from our Heavenly Father. He loves us. So we need to constantly be keeping ourselves worthy to have the spirit with us. To have this constant guidance everyday. Life is hard. Let's all just make it easier and have the companionship of the Holy Ghost - a member of the God head! How amazing is that?!
Well, I hope you all have a wonderful week. Thank you all for everything!
