What’s up! Where to begin, holy cow. I wrote things down, but I forgot the paper haha. Anyway, my life is crazy! It’s hard and stressful, but its awesome because I get to share what means the most to me! Fist of all, let me start off by saying that I have never had to have more patience in my life haha. Patience with everything. With the culture, the language (oh my heavens), people, comps, yourself, just everything! I definitely have had to pray a lot. I guess that’s the whole point, right? :)
Well first, my comp went to a trainers meeting in a different city so I was with some different sisters for the day in a different city and it was really fun seeing a new area! It was like all country (instead of my area-city), and it was really peaceful. It was fun getting to spend some time with new people doing new things. It was a lot of fun! We are doing divisions this Wednesday, so I think thatll be fun!
Seeing people that came with you from the MTC here, is seriously like seeing family. I get so excited to see anyone that I knew in the MTC. Especially the one guy that came here with me from my district, its cool to see him, cause it feels comforting, like I’m not alone and I’m seeing my brother or something haha. I don’t know if that’s weird.
Anyway, I’m still trying to understand Spanish. And speak it. People have said that it will come after my training. Which is at the end of October haha. So I will definitely have to learn patience. The people here are so nice and really friendly. A lot of them are nice to me and try to help me with my Spanish. Or they are just really understanding that I cant speak the language haha.
There are these 3 boys (same family) that are planning on getting baptized August 30th and I’m so excited! Their family is seriously amazing. The youngest son, he’s 4, always comes up to me and hugs me, or he will grab my hand. And when I am speaking English to my companion, he will always just say, "en Español", haha. He doesn’t like it when I speak in English. Lessons are going a little better than the beginning. I used to just sit there a lot and testify after my
