Another week has gone by and I cant even remember what happened!! This week went super fast because we were planning for the baptism and everything. But good news! The baptism went really well :) Her kids are wanting to get baptized also, so we are going to be working with them a lot these next couple of weeks. I was able to give my testimony after the baptism. It was all really great!
Yesterday I gave a talk in church about our Heavenly Father. I talked a little bit about how he created the earth and everything. And He also gave us His Son Jesus Christ so that we can progress. And the love that He has for us. Basically I just used scriptures. I think it went pretty well. As for the rest of this week.....
We had a lesson yesterday with our investigator, Facundo and it went super well!! We talked about the plan of salvation. What I try to do when I teach is make it super clear and super simple so that they understand and aren’t confused. The spirit was really strong. We were talking about our life on earth and how its such a short time but it determines the rest of eternity. Super important. I love teaching!
This past Friday we had a stake activity! It went really well. We had lots of people bring traditional desserts. (Which were delicious). The activity was about family history. We had people share stories about their family history and the importance of doing the work. BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE ARE WAITING! We were hoping for more people, but it was a lot of fun!
Another story is we officially have a new investigator! Her name is Lucia. We found her the other morning and she said that she has already talked to missionaries before (like 8 months ago) and she said that she wants us to visit her. We had a lesson with her about the importance of the Book of Mormon and how it can help us in our life. She’s so awesome! She’s 24, married, and has a little boy (7 months). She wants to know about this gospel so that makes me really happy! :)
I don’t have much more time, I’m sorry. But this is basically my week in a nutshell.
I hope you all have an amazing day! Love you all!
