Summer and hotter summer. Holy moly! October 20, 2014
Anyways, Hello! ¿Comó están?!
Yes, this week was a hot one. Every single day with not a cloud in the sky. Luckily everybody is really nice and inviting with cold water. They always think that Americans don't appreciate cold water because we don't make it the coldest we can. They put mint in their water sometimes, so that they all don't melt either! Anyways, I lived, everything is all good :) We were able to work, and that's what it is all about. It doesn't matter what it feels like outside. If it means inviting others to Christ, the heat doesn't matter.
This past Saturday was a good day :) We had a stake activity with all the missionaries in our zone and the youth in the stake. We took them to less-active member's houses and showed them a little bit of missionary work. As we were walking to the houses, one of the missionaries told me that I would be going to a random member's house with 2 of the young women by myself. No other missionary for me to rely on. It was nerve-racking! For the first time I really had to try to listen to the spirit, think of what we were going to share, ask them questions to find their needs, commit them to do something. But, with the Lord's help, the spirit, and the 2 girls, I had a lot of help and it was a really good experience. My companion is going home on Wednesday and so to know that I kind of have an idea of what I am doing made me more confident for when she does leave. My training is done soon
