Family and Friends!
I can't believe I am saying this right now, but I have 5 days left in the CCM. What? I could have sworn I just got here. It's pretty crazy! It's SO true when they say the days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days. Every week passes by and i can't believe it. We are learning so much in a day and it's amazing how much we are learning. The language is coming along. My problem is when I am out proselyting or talking with a latino, I can only talk doctrine. I only know church language. I need to learn normal people spanish! haha But i love it. I love speaking spanish. It's pretty amazing how far along we've come. I know it's only because of the gift of tongues that the Lord has given us.
Well this week proselyting we got to go to a new area. I love it! It was mostly a lot of houses and neighborhoods. But I liked it more than the streets because we could talk to people who were in their yards instead of hoping that someone will stop and talk to us on the street. It was a beautiful day on saturday and a lot of people were doing "yard work." We were so blessed to be in that neighborhood while it was nice and sunny outside. We met some really awesome people. There weren't too many people interested in our message, but a lot of people were interested to hear where we were from and what the states are like. Alot of people don't like the states though. We had this one guy say that there were only 2 nice people from the united states. And he said they were us, me and my

companion. It was sweet but a lot of people don't like americans! Oh well, I am so happy to be down here.
So proselyting was good, I always love getting out on the streets and really testifying what I know to be true to these people.
One thing I want to testify to you all is how the Book of Mormon and Bible work together perfectly. I love it. Without each other, we wouldn't have the fullness of the gospel. my love for the scriptures has increased so much being here. I LOVE the scriptures. What an amazing tool and blessing God has given us. They are the instructions of how to get back to him and live with him forever with our families. How beautiful.
Another thing is how Heavenly Father answers prayers. I know this is true. I have seen it in my life. I prayed while being in the temple the other day and the answer was immediate. I had the faith and I know this is what the Lord needs me to be doing. Our answer won't always be immediate but it will come if we have the faith. I know that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ can help us overcome our weaknesses and thoughts. Through Christ's mercy, we can overcome anything if we but trust in him. We have to look at him through everything we do. We have to. We have to keep that faith. I really want to stress the importance of always working on your testimony. Always keep being obedient. ALWAYS do all that you can to stay strong in the gospel. That is so important and it is so vital in this life. We can't let our faith slip. We can't give up. We have to always keep trying our best. It will be super hard, but I know with the Lord we can do! Goodness it's so important. my scripture for you all is St. John 16:20-22. Trust in that.
Oh, and something else that is super amazing and beautiful is St. john 1. That whole chapter is amazing. It talks about our Savior and it's written in a way that i usually don't think about. Something that i think about when I read that chapter is how The gospel means good news. The good news is that the savior has made an atonement for us so that we can be saved from our sins. i encourage you to read that chapter! it's not very long, if that helps! :)
For some asking (Dad), a more day to day experience. Hmm lets see. The food here is pretty american I would say. I mean they say it's argentinan but it's not anything crazy. They give us So much meat. Every meal has pretty large portions of meat. It's probably good I'm leaving soon. 6 weeks eating like that cannot be good for me! maybe if i worked out more. We have about 6 girls in each room. All of the north americans are split up so that we can talk with the latina girls more. So every night we say a prayer in spanish together. We have class in our district for about 10 hours of the day. We calculated it. Other than grammar class and teaching class, we have meals, physical activity, a computer activity for our language, and an occational devotional. And that's about it in the CCM.
Well, I love you! Thank you for all of the support you have shown me. I'm sorry if I haven't been able to respond to you personally, but I do read every email I get. Hopefully I can respond individually soon! Have a wonderful week!
