Wow this week was crazy!! So I’m officially in a new area called Nuava Palmira. We are living in Carmelo though, however. So every single morning and night we have to travel about 40 minutes. But the mission is giving us extra money to travel, so that’s’ good. We also have to buy our lunch every day. So, lots of money. Nueva Palmira is super great! Everyone there is super nice! Im always surprised when people say that we can sit down and talk with them or go visit them another day haha. But its amazing. One thing that I can definitely testify of this week is that the Lord prepares people. Man its so true.
We have had some really great lessons this week. Oh! Something awesome happened! The elders gave us a reference to go visit a lady named Karem. So we visited her once and talked a little bit about the restoration which went well. And then other day we passed by to see if she was there and they said that she was busy. So we walked away and then her niece called after us down the road and we came back. They said that she was just showering so we all sat outside. But it turned out that a lot of her brothers and sisters joined. It was funny, more and more people just kept showing up and sat down to listen. It was super great. We were teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ (cause we didn’t have any more restoration pamphlets haha). But it went so well! And I know that the Lord has blessed me with the gift of tongues. Its incredible. Everyone was just talking and I felt like I was teaching the majority of the lesson (my companion struggles a little with Spanish). But the whole thing was just a great experience. I felt the spirit so strong and it was definitely the most people I have ever taught in one setting. There were 12 people there listening to us!! It was so awesome. This work is definitely moving forward and its awesome to be in the middle of it :)
Thank you all so much for your prayers! They help so much :) I love you all! Sorry its not too much to report this week.
Hope your week is amazing!
