Its official! Today is my very last day of training! I get my new companion in the morning. Her name is Hermana Rojas and she is from Chile! I’m super excited to be speaking Spanish all the time and really start improving. It’ll be weird having a different companion, cause you get so used to being around one person, but itll be cool to have a change!
The work here has been a little slow lately. We don’t really have too many progressing investigators, but we are going to try super hard this week to teach with power, clarity, and the spirit. I hope that the work can start picking up. Not a lot of people here like to go to church. There are SO many less actives to work with.
As for things that happened this week, on Saturday night we went to a talent show and it was so much fun! There were songs that I used to listen to and I actually had a lot of fun singing along and watching people dance and stuff. My comp danced, and then at one point, the guy that was leading the program was like, and up next we have.... Hermana Wiscombe with a surprise! And I was like what? Ummm, yep its a surprise haha. So another Hermana and I sang a hymn haha. I felt so bad. People were probably so bored. The whole night was so much fun though! Its good to be able to relax a little bit during your week and go crazy haha. (As crazy as a missionary can be). Oh! Another thing that happened this week. My comp and I were walking home and I walked through a plant and my foot all of the sudden started stinging. It had felt like I had walked through a ton of needles. It killed. It was a DEVIL PLANT! En serio. My foot was tingling for the next 3 hours and I was just like, what the heck? Where am I? Haha. We have a member in our ward and she put some alcohol stuff on it and it basically immediately helped. Its funny what "herbs" they have here. The other day my stomach was

hurting me and another member gave me this drink with yellow flowers in it. It was pretty good haha. Its just funny the things that they do and give you here.
Today for P-day we played fútbol at the church with our zone which was super fun! And then we went over to Brazil to a restaurant, which was super weird, I haven’t been to a restaurant in SO long! And oh! I ate a chicken heart! It wasn’t very good, but of course I had to eat to say that I ate a chicken heart.
This week has been really good! Our lessons have gone well, and I feel like God is really blessing me. I know he is helping me little by little with the gift of tongues and one thing that I know for sure is that he is watching over me always. And he hears every single one of my prayers. Holy cow. I have such a strong testimony on the power of prayer. God answers prayers. He is so incredibly loving and guiding. Take advantage of praying! The Almighty God WANTS to hear from you! And he loves you and will answer your prayers! I was reading Mosiah 2 this week and its an amazing chapter. I love you all and thank you so much for your prayers!
