Hola hola! September 1, 2014
This week was definitely the fastest week by far. Its insane how fast time goes here! And it’s already SEPTEMBER! This week was really good! It’s hard to remember everything that happened because all of the days and weeks blend together. But its been really good.
We had a miracle happen this week! The Elders gave us a reference to this guy named Gabriel. We went over to his house and he was so excited to learn more about the gospel and he was basically teaching us. Haha, he knows so much about the gospel. He said he’s studied the bible a lot. We had one lesson with him, and then our next lesson was in the church. We taught a little bit about the restoration and it went really well! At the end, I invited him to be baptized on September 27th and he said yes! He is a golden investigator and he is amazing! He is always so happy and wanting to learn more. My comp and I have a family that we have been working with, and they are still progressing. Their baptismal dates are on September 27th as well. So I hope they all pull through! I love the people I teach :)
The Spanish is coming along. As I’ve said, very slowly but surely. But I don’t have a doubt in my mind that the Lord will loosen my tongue. God can do all things and I have faith that I will be able to speak this language. It’s amazing, when I am in lessons, and I am speaking through the spirit, the Spanish just comes to me so much easier. So I need to always make sure that I am in tune with the spirit.

So, this past weekend has been crazy! My companion and I got all of our stuff stolen from us, including the keys to our apartment, so we had to go to Montevideo, and sleep at some other sisters apartment for two nights. We went to church with them yesterday and it went really well! I like being able to see new areas. We were basically on divisions that night. Its fun to get to work with new people and see how they work.
I don’t have too much to report on this week (I’m sorry), but I want you all to know that Heavenly Father loves his children so much. And he watches over us and protects us. We just have to do our part and make him proud. I have a testimony of this gospel that I have the opportunity to share every day. I love my Savior, and my Heavenly Father. I seriously love the Book of Mormon. I don’t know what I would do without it. I love the truthfulness that I have and how incredibly blessed I am. And I have a very strong testimony of eternal families. I have seen so many families here that just didn’t grow up the right now, and just have a lot of problems and it makes me feel extremely blessed. This is an amazing work and it is pressing forward. Every ear WILL hear the word of God and one day we WILL see the living Christ. NOW is the time to prepare to meet God. Hoy es el dia!
Thank you all for your prayers! I love you!
