Its crazy how fast this past week went! The days definitely are filled with lots of stuff, but somehow the weeks go fast. Last week the Provo MTC had a devotional and I got to see Kristen sing in the choir! It was really awesome! And that devotional by Christofferson was awesome. We also watched a talk by Holland, and of course, that was incredible. He is always so bold. He definitely knows how to make you feel the spirit. On sunday night we all watched the 2005 Jospeh Smith movie. Holy cow. If you havent seen it, go see it. Its amazing. I was like trying not to cry the whole time. And at the end when Joseph looked at his brother because he knew he was going to die, I just cried. Oh it was so sad. And Joseph Smith sacrificed so much for his God. Amazing movie. I want to see it again.

the temple! it was cool in spanish! And the celestial room was beautiful. It was so peaceful.
This week has been great! Ive been happy. Ive had to pray for patience with myself with the language and I have to remind myself that ive only been here two weeks and im not going to know the language yet. But im trying!! Im getting a little bit better at conjugating verbs haha. Thats always been difficult for me. My teachers are seriously incredible. Oh! And we teach an investigator every day and my companion and I are getting so good at teaching! Our spanish is definitely struggling, but we used to read word for word what we would say and now we barely even use notes. I feel so accomplished! AND GUESS WHAT EVERYONE. We are going proselyting (dont know how to spell it) TOMORROW. We are talking to actual people tomrorow. Haha. Who ever knew this day would come?! The other missionaries said it was awesome though. So im trying not to worry too much.
Oh I finished the Book of Mormon! Just thought Id let y'all know :) Im starting over and my GOAL is to be done bySeptember 1st. We will see how I do. The North American sisters (8 of us) sang Joseph Smiths first prayer on sunday. It was so beautiful. we were in unison on the first verse, harmony on the 2nd and 3rd verse, and harmony and english on the 4th. It was amazing. We only sing spanish hymns so it was cool in english. So, whenever I pray outloud now, its only ever in spanish and the other night i prayed outloud in english and it was so weird haha. ive gotten pretty good at praying in spanish, I just need to memorize more things to say.
The other day we were outside playing soccer and that was the day that argentina was playing the world cup, and all of the sudden we heard all these horns go off and we knew that argentina had won. How cool is is that I was playing soccer IN ARGENTINA when Argentina won the world cup! Is this real life?! Playing soccer is super fun. Its basically all guys that play and then a few girls. and people have said that Im good at soccer! So that makes me feel really good.
The other day we had mashed potatoes for lunch and Ive been waiting for that for so long!! Man. They were SO good. Worth the wait. And they have this dulce de leche stuff here. OH my heavens. Its heaven in a cup. They spoil us during meal times.
So its super sad. I never sing anymore. I miss singing! I turn on music sometimes but its quiet and its church music, so its not like I can belt out. Sad. Im definitely going to sing a lot when I get home. And take naps haha. Im going to attempt to send pictures. Sorry if they dont send!! I love you all! Thanks for the prayers and support!!
