This week was amazing! You know why? Because we got to watch conference! Everything ran very smoothly. The internet was perfect and we had a few of our investigators come to the church to watch it!! I was so happy to see them there! They both said that they really enjoyed the conference. We watched the conference in Spanish with English subtitles because there are a lot of us Americans here haha. I was grateful though because a lot of the general authorities use really big words so the English subtitles helped :) All of the talks were so amazing! I loved all of them. One of my favorites was probably Uchtdorfs, talking about the grace of God. All of us are so imperfect but His plan for us is not to fall. His grace is there if we do our part. Repent. What a gift that we have! Speaking of, this week has been GREAT because we’ve been able to show the video Because He Lives to everyone! And we get to share our testimonies that we know that Christ lives and he is the Redeemer of the world. I love being able to dedicate my time to the Lord. Being able to tell others that they are a child of a very loving Father in Heaven.
This is officially the very last day of changes!! We are getting new companions tomorrow and we will start the change. My companion will be coming tonight. And guess what?! Its Hermana Sablan! I was with her (just for divisions) in Artigas 4 months ago! We got along really well so I know that we are going to have an awesome change together. Were going to have a lot of fun and work super duper hard.
I have definitely seen some miracles this week. We have a fairly new family that we have been teaching and they are just so willing to listen to our message. Their names are Ruban and Marta. And they have a daughter named Noelia and lots of grandchildren. They understand the story of Joseph Smith super well and we taught them about the Book of Mormon last night. We gave it to them the last time and they said that they have already started reading some! That made me so happy :) And the lesson last night was just so spiritual. We invited them to baptism and they said that when they know that these things are true, then yes, they will be baptized :D God seriously never ceases to do miracles. (I think I said that right in English..). He is just always showing his love for all of His children.
Not a whole lot for this week but just know that I love you all!!
