Familia!! Y amigos!!
First of all, thanks to all of you who have prayed for me and Hermana Bravo this week. Its amazing to have so much support! We were able to make a LOT of contacts, so this week we are going to try really hard to go back to their houses! I just really want to be able to bring more people unto Christ.
This week I have really learned that the first principle of the gospel is faith. You have to get up the courage every time to just talk to someone. Open your mouth. The reason why I do it is because I know that if I do, I am allowing someone the chance to have SALVATION! Eternal happiness :) I have to remember the reasons WHY I am doing the things I am doing. And I know that God really is helping me every step of the way. Here on the mission, I can really see just how involved he is in the lives of all of us. And that he listens to our prayers!! Its amazing to say a tiny prayer in your heart, or even just a thought, and then Heavenly Father, being the loving man that He is, responds. Its so great :) And this is what we are always inviting our investigators (really, everyone) to do. To pray to know if something is true, pray to feel the spirit again, pray to have strength, peace, comfort, happiness. Whatever it is, we can pray and God is listening.
We went on divisions this week and I was with Hermana Davidson. She is from California. She’s super funny and we had a really good time together! We worked really hard. In the morning we had a really spiritual lesson with one of our investigators about the Book of Mormon. We really want her to pray to see if its true. And in the afternoon we had 3 lessons planned, but all 3 of them called, and canceled. So instead, we decided to contact. And we were with a member (Agustina-16 years old). And she went out with us and helped contact! It was super great because at one part, she was just helping us testify, teach, and invite people to visit the new Christmas video. It was a really great day :) And I know that God prepares people. There are people that are willing to listen. We just have to find them! So now the challenge for Hermana Bravo and I this week is to go back to these houses and find the ones that are willing to listen and willing to progress.
Something that I do know is that this gospel brings us happiness :) Mosiah 2:41. That’s why God created this plan. So that we can have happiness! I’m really hoping this week that I can share the happiness that I have, with other people.
I would love your prayers to be able to find the people that God has prepared!
This week was a really good one! I hope you all have an amazing one!
