Family! September 15, 2014
Wasn’t I just writing to you all? Man, the weeks. They just fly by, can't even believe it. Anyways, every week is different but it's pretty much all the same for the most part. Teaching - and learning that I have so many weaknesses. I have SO MANY. As a teacher I need to improve a lot! My Spanish is getting a little bit better but now that I can do more than just bear my testimony at the end of a lesson, and I'm really trying to teach a lot more, I have come to know that I am not a very good teacher. But I also know that the Lord qualifies the called and that he makes weak things become strong. I am learning every day and practicing. I know that with time ( hopefully not a year and a half haha) I will be able to teach! Other than teaching, really trying to work with the members and get them involved more in the missionary work. Our ward is lacking in that area - having excitement to share the gospel. But we are trying to work with them more and of course, strengthen them themselves.
Lots of walking everyday. And LOTS of sun everyday. But as long as we keep drinking water, we are happy and healthy and trying to work hard. Something that is definitely hard is staying diligent and working the full time that you need to. But I know if we are being exactly obedient and working diligently all day, we will see greater blessings in our area. So prays are always welcome! Diligence is so important!
Something that I want to testify to you all this week is how important prophets are. We would not

Something that I want to testify to you all this week is how important prophets are. We would not
have this gospel without the prophets. The other day we had this lesson with a man, who was in the end just trying to save us. But while we were trying to answer some of his questions, he asked us, "who do YOU follow?" We (as in my companion) answered him with all the energy of our hearts, and all of the love that we could have for this man. And we said that we follow our Heavenly Father. I want to testify that the prophets are truly a mouthpiece for the Lord. I know that Jesus Christ is the head of this church. And under him to guide the church on the earth is a prophet. Through the prophets, I follow my Heavenly Father. I just really really love prophets. I know that today Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today and that he receives revelation from God to guide us today. Oh how our Heavenly Father loves us. He loves us SO much!!
Well at the end of this week we are planning to have a baptism! Her name is Elisia Gonzalas. She is amazing. And even with her family not agreeing to her decision, I know this gospel will bless her and her kids. I know that this baptismal covenant that she makes with God will strengthen her and bring so many blessings in her life. I'm so excited for Saturday! I know that the Lord prepares people. And we are just the messengers of the truth! I am honored to be called her to teach the people at this time in Molino. In Paraguay.
Well family and friends, I love you and I hope you all have a wonderful week! Remember how much God loves you!
Love, Hermana Liesel Wiscombe
P.S. General Conference is in 20 days!
