¿Comó Estás?
I hope everyone is having a lovely week and counting their blessings everyday!!! If not, start! Because every single one of you are having the love of God poured out upon you!
This week was a bit crazy. Time-wise we felt like we didn't get much teaching time in. We had zone conference on Wednesday (with President interviews - my mission president is amazing!) and so that took up most of the day. But that's ok, because I learned so much from my leaders! And then this week we also had a kiosk that we were out contacting with for 2 days- 2 hours each day. It was a lot of fun just solely having that tie to contact and try to talk to a lot of people. It was fun. But sometimes it was sad. One of the questions on the kiosk asked why are we here on the earth? And so I started talking to this woman and she relpied back, " we are here to suffer" and then she was off. But it was just sad to hear that. I know that that is completely not true. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and did not send us here to suffer. That was christ's role. He suffered and now we don't have to. This life is one to be enjoyed! Learn and be challenged, but enjoyed!
This week was another HOT one. Most times we teach people outside though because it's even hotter in their houses. I can't tell if I've gotten any sun yet though. I'm sure it'll come soon enough. We are outside all day a lot of the times.

Hmm, really not too much new. I am learning everyday. Something new everyday. This work is a hard one. But I know that if I let God take the lead, he will guide me along and help me become the kind of missionary that I need to be for these people.
Something that has been a huge testimony builder for me this week was seeing the families that struggle or the single mothers that struggle. My testimony of the law of chastity is so strong. Everyday I can see why God has given us each and every commandment. Lots of people see the law of chastity as an awkward subject but I just want to say that it is a beautiful commandment. And if we live by that law that God has given, we can have beautiful blessings in the future. There are so many families here that stuggle because of the lack of good decisions they made when they were younger. And it hurts to see people suffering from it. But I also do know that the Lord is merciful and he is forgiving. I know that commandments are given to us for our safety, our happiness, our peace. I know that the Lord loves us. And by following his commandments, even if we don't understand them all the time, we will be blessed immensely.
I hope you all are doing wonderful! Paraguay is doing just lovely! I think haha. Today on the collectivo the police came on and checked everybody's ID. We didn't have any documents, and my companion was freaking out, but all is well because I guess we just don't look Latina. Anyways, Have a wonderful week and count your blessings! Oh, and help out the missionaries! Haha the members help a lot! We have to really work hard with my ward. But they are amazing nonetheless!
Love you all and I am sincerely grateful for all the emails and notes!
