Hola!!
¡Espero que todos tuvieron una buena semana!
This week went by really fast. We had a good week! Lately, we have been working a lot with our less actives. Its sad because there are SO many. We were actually just contacting different houses the other day and we picked one house and she told us that she was a member of our church but now shes Evangelical. (Is that right?) Anyway, we are just really trying to teach these people what they are needing.
One lesson that we have taught a lot of people this weeks is Ether. The story of the brother of Jared. We are talking to them about the story of the boats and the rocks that shine in the darkness. And then how there was a terrible storm and wind. And in Ether 6:5 and 8 it talks about how the wind is the very thing that helped them get to the promised land. All of us have trials in our life. We aren’t going to stop having trials because god want us to grow in this life and progress. But I know that the person that puts these trials in our life is the very person that is supporting us and helping us through them. God wants us to be happy. And I know that through our trials, we rely more on Him. Its amazing the way that God works because He knows exactly what he is doing. Trust more in the will of God. He loves you. Ask Him for help!
My companion and I had an awesome experience yesterday. We were at a less actives house and she didn’t have a lot of time. So we asked her if we could just sing, pray, and then read a scripture. So we sang, and while my companion was praying, Helaman 5:12 came into my head. We finished the prayer and I told my companion that we should read Helaman 5:12. She said, "I was thinking the exact same scripture!!" It was so awesome!! So we were talking to her about that scripture and in the end, two times, she said that that is the scripture that she was needing to hear. Its really amazing having the Holy Ghost work through you.
I don’t have a ton to share this week. But I know that this church is true :) Without a doubt.
I hope you all have an amazing week!
