Iporáeterei? I sure hope so! I hope everyone's week was lovely!
As for me, Iporánte :) It was definitely a week of challenges, but much more of learning! That is the beautiful thing about the gospel and the plan of Heavenly Father. Although we all have challenges, I know that we can have so many more beautiful experiences, learning and growing, and we will be better people coming out of them. God sure does love us so so much!
We had a lesson this week with a girl named Carmen DelPadre, she is a friend of a recent convert. So we met with her for the first time the other day. It definitely wasn't a normal kind of lesson. Many different questions and approaching all of her questions in a different manner (not teaching a certain lesson). But it was good, I hope she was able to feel the spirit through us. One of the things that I was proud to testify of was that all of the answers to her questions we found an answer in the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is of Heavenly Father for our guidance. It is one of the biggest tools we have here on earth at this time to guide us. We gave her a book of Mormon and I know this will bless her life forever. It will change her life.
Yesterday in church I was asked to give a talk about having unity in the church. So I talked a bit about sustaining the leaders and also I followed Mosiah 18 and based my talk on this chapter. It shows us how a church of God has to function and if we follow it in this manner following our leaders, we will be blessed as a church and the spirit will be there. I know this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ and that the true church has the gospel in it. We just have to keep good care of the church. 2 things: fulfill your calling - give it all to the Lord! and sustain our leaders! And we will progress as a church!
Not too much to report on for this week. But I am happy and I know its due to the Gospel! I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day this weekend! Thank you all for everything!
Love, Hermana Liesel Wiscombe
