Family and friends!!
How are you all? How was your week! This week seriously flew by. I say that every week, but I’m being serious this time. I don’t even remember what I did!
First of all. Something crazy that happened. My companion and I were studying about the plan of salvation. Because I had questions about the Atonement and why it is necessary. And our minds were just being blown as we were studying together. We were studying Alma 40, 41, 42. Its seriously amazing. If you guys have questions about the plan of salvation, read these chapters. Its seriously amazing how perfect of a plan God made. Just for us. He has given us EVERY way to return to his presence. Its like the Lord says in the vineyard, "¿Qué más pude yo haber hecho por mi viña?" (sorry, I only have my spanish sciptures with me). What more can God and Jesus Christ do for us? They have literally done EVERYTHING so that we can return to his presence. And what have they asked of us? That we repent! They ask so little of us. We just need to be willing to repent every single day. Become pure every single day. Just like our Savior is pure. (Moroni 7:48). I love love love learning about the plan of salvation. And we were able to teach a lot of people this week about the plan of salvation and the Christ’s atonement. I love teaching!
Another awesome thing that happened this week is we were in a lesson with our investigator and he basically stopped us and he was like. I want to tell you guys something. (This is our investigator, Hugo, that basically lost everything). And he told us how grateful he is for us, and for the work we are doing. He said, "It must be really important to you guys if you are here doing this." He also said, "I have never felt more peace in my life." It was so amazing. The spirit was so strong. He started tearing up. He said, "Thank you so much." That’s what makes me happy. This is why I am here on the mission. To make people happy. To bring people unto Christ. I am so grateful for this experience that I have.
On Saturday we had a service project. And it was a lot of fun! Its like the second one I’ve had on my mission. Our zone walked (super far) over to an elementary school and we helped paint. My companion and I painted doors. I really liked it! I will send a few pictures. And Ill send more next week! Okay. I don’t have any more time left. But I love you all!
Thanks for the prayers :) Que pasen bien!!
