10 days till Christmas! I’m super pumped!
This week has been good! But its been a little rough. Most of the day we are just walking around in our (huge) area. We try contacting, and sharing about Christmas, but there are so many people who just don’t want to listen. But that’s okay, I know the Lord works in His own timing! We just have to keep working! We had some really good lessons this week and its just amazing feeling the spirit all the time. I love it!
This next week is going to be crazy for us! We have to wake up at like 5 tomorrow morning to go to an area about an hour and a half away to practice singing for the fireside which is going to be this Saturday. Wednesday we are going to Montevideo and we are going to have interviews/teach him and we are going to have capacitaciòn (not sure the word in English) with our zone. Just learning more about how we can improve and stuff. And then Thursday we are going to the temple!! I’m so excited! I haven’t been in about 4 months!
Oh I almost forgot! This week we went to an area called San Pedro. Its technically in our area but we had to take an omnibus (a bus) half an hour away. It was crazy! They just dropped us off in the middle of no where. We started off walking through this tiny neighborhood and picked a house. We clapped and then a girl came out with her baby. She is 16 and her baby is 3 days old. She got back from the hospital the night before. She didn’t even ask why were there! She was just like, do you guys want to pass? Were like, yes!! So we were just talking to her about part of the plan of salvation. I asked her, would you like to live with your family for eternity? And she was like, I would love that. Holy cow! The Lord really works miracles. So we are going to try to go back tomorrow and visit her. After visiting her, we left the tiny neighborhood and just starting walking down the road. It was kind of like a highway. There were no houses in sight besides one. So we went there and the lady there was so nice! We invited her to go to the fireside this Saturday and she said that she would go! And then we went on our way again, still walking down the road and then we turned to the left and started walking down a dirt road. A LONG dirt road. SO LONG. It was so awesome!!! There were just fields and fields and farmland around us. There was not a house in sight. We were literally walking in the middle of no where. I loved it! I felt like such a missionary. Then finally after about 30 minutes of walking down this road, we saw a house in the distance and walked to his house. We talked to him and invited him to the fireside too and he said he would go! Holy cow. It was amazing. I love San Pedro. Everyone there is so nice. And the Lord really does bless us and really does prepare these people.
I hope all of you guys have an amazing week!! Love you all!
